In 2024, our Alans BMX / Supercross Race Team Manager, John Bentley, built one of the new Torker Pro-X frames and took it up to the British Cycling National event at Cumbernauld, near Glasgow and made the main in the +40 class both days. John then hung up the Torker and swapped it in for a 24" Pro-X to race next season, and we have built it up here, as you see with all new parts, ready to go!
Our Torker story started in April 1981, when Chuck Robinson took us to the Torker factory in Fullerton, CA and with me becoming the importer for the brand. Back then the complete bike range consisted of the Torkflyte and Maxflyte, with the LP and LPX frames.
In 1983 the much-needed new frame - named the Pro-X - from Torker hit the market ridden by Pro's Mike Miranda and Tommy Brackens. The 2025 is Pro-X is upgraded with modern touches to make the bike easier to ride - like a V-brake (that actually works), a clamp-on 1 1/8" threadless fork system (that stays tight) and a super long 21.75" toptube (so at 50 you can ride it).

What are the delivery times?
We offer multiple shipping options for UK customers including Royal Mail Tracked 48/24 services, UPS Next Day and UPS Saturday delivery. You can find these at checkout.
For international customers shipping times may vary depending on location and the size of your order. Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.
Do you ship worldwide?
We ship worldwide and offer free shipping to Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg on orders over 300 Euro.

We remove our local UK VAT but you will need to pay import fees at the border of your country. Unfortunately AlansBMX cannot calculate these import fees as they are specific to your country. For USA customers orders under $800USD are tax free.
