A Legacy of BMX and Giving Back

Since we opened our doors in 1981, we’ve always been deeply connected to the best brands in BMX—none more so than GT. A brand synonymous with the very essence of BMX, GT’s heritage cane be traced back to the very beginning of BMX in California. Over the years, we’ve even played a part in inspiring their Heritage line with our own GT Heritage Team.

But times change. The pandemic’s cycling boom saw bikes flying off shelves, only for demand to stall soon after. Like many industries, BMX hasn’t been immune to these challenges, and GT recently announced an indefinite “pause” on production, focusing instead on clearing existing stock.

Supporting Grassroots BMX
AlansBMX have took advantage of purchasing some GT Bicycles at discounted prices but we believe in giving back to the BMX community, where it all begins—grassroots. That’s why, in partnership with outgoing GT staff, we’re donating 20 bikes to four Northern BMX clubs. Each club will receive five bikes to help new riders at coaching sessions and practice gates.
