The Rixin brand comes from the people behind Merritt out of New Jersey, with a stacked group of shredders on their roster, including New York native, Youtube staple, and all-around ripper Billy Perry, Tyler F and Dan Kruk. Here in the UK we have James "Bear" Heyes with a squad being built right now.
Previously, if you wanted a Rixin your only option was the buy a Billy Perry Big Apple frame and build it from scratch, but now Rixin have affordable off-the-shelf complete bikes. To start with there are two 20" models in the range - the Local and the Express, with the Express coming in regular 20.5" TT or XL 21" TT options. Rixin Local
The Rixin Local is a great entry level bike for the budding up and coming Billy Perry. With high quality parts while still being budget friendly and geometry that is comfortable for beginners but still good for when the rider's skill level improves. A hi-ten frame and fork with sealed bearing hubs and mid bottom bracket with 3-piece cranks. street approved 2.4" wide tyres with Theory grips, pedals and stem rounding off the build. 20.25" toptube.
Rixin Express
The Rixin Express is made to perform at a higher level with more progressive geometry and quality that can handle the abuse of more advanced riding, whether it's street, park, or dirt. Chromoly downtube frame and full chromoly fork have the strength needed to take it all on. 2.4" street tyres on wheels with sealed bearing hubs, Rixin pivotal seat and theory components complete the build with everything you need.
The Prospect is the ideal entry level bikelife bike. built with the same focus on wheelie performance as the district and aspect but with relaxed positions more comfortable for beginners. a sturdy hi-ten frame with a chromoly fork lets the bike handle any swerves and combos thrown at it and features like bottle cage mounts help you make your rides more comfortable. theory grips, stem, pedals, sprocket and seat along with sealed hubs, mid bottom bracket, 2.4" tyres and mechanical disc brakes keep the whole bike dialed and rolling smooth.
Rixin District 29"
The District is the ultimate setup for bikelife. designed with the focus of performance with the front wheel in the air, it locks into wheelies better than anything else. 6061 aluminum frame with full chromoly fork and 14mm rear axle in a theory turnstyle cassette hub keeps everything else strong and ready for abuse and details like bottle cage mounts and a port for dropper post cable routing help you make your rides more comfortable. hydraulic shimano brakes, theory 2.5" method tires, sealed bearings and theory parts throughout complete a solid build.
Rixin Aspect 27.5"
The Aspect is designed from the ground up for bikelife. With a 6061 aluminum frame with geometry that locks into wheelies it performs at a level all its own. Full chromoly fork and 14mm rear axle in a theory turnstyle cassette hub keeps everything else strong and ready for abuse and design details like bottle cage mounts and a port for dropper post cable routing help you make your rides more comfortable. hydraulic shimano front and rear brakes, 27.5+ x 3.0" tyres, sealed bearings and theory parts throughout put it in a league of its own.
