For the hard core perfectionists out there, you spoke and A'ME have listened - and are offering the classic Round (and Tri) grips in a limited run using the original Bubble Font logo. Additionally, exclusively here in the UK, we are making replicas of the original A'ME boxes as well for them, that your man cave won't be complete without!
PLEASE NOTE: Until we get the finished grips, the coloured images here show the current grip with the new logo, we'll update these images as soon as we get the actual Double Bubble grips.
The Logo
A'ME have worked painstaingly on this project, making a new mould for the rare double Bubble Font logo sold in teh 1980's (there was an easier workaround tested, but the results weren't a good as we'd have liked). A small R for reproduction appears on the insdie of the flange to differenciate them from the originals.
The Boxes
The boxes are made right here in the UK, close to the original specs and printed just like the originals but using higher-quality upgraded corrugated card for a durability.
About A'ME Grips
A’ME BMX grips are composed of Vulcathane,™ a specially blended rubber compound combined with UV stabilising ingredients that exhibit superior oxidation and ozone resistance. What are the delivery times?
We offer multiple shipping options for UK customers including Royal Mail Tracked 48/24 services, UPS Next Day and UPS Saturday delivery. You can find these at checkout.
For international customers shipping times may vary depending on location and the size of your order. You can get shipping prices at checkout automatically after adding your shipping address and local UK VAT is removed from your order. Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.

We ship worldwide and offer shipping to many countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and many many more
Shipping is calculated at checkout once you put your delivery address in, AlansBMX will contact customer about pre paying import fees and duties after your order is placed.

We remove our local UK VAT but you will need to pay import fees at the border of your country. Unfortunately AlansBMX cannot calculate these import fees as they are specific to your country.
Do you offer finance?
