The Animal Bikes Akimbo Cranks were designed with the help of FEA to be a set of extremely strong, but not overbuilt, 3 piece cranks, the Akimbo cranks have a choice of 160, 165, 170 or 175mm arms with a smooth shape with a laser etched logo and are made with heattreated 4130 chromoly. The 22mm, 48 spline hollow spindle attaches to the arms via spindle bosses, that fit standard crank arm bolts and micro drive bolts, and hollow M15x1.0 7075 aluminum spindle bolts. The crankset also includes a crank installation/removal tool and grease pack.

What are the delivery times?

Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.
Do you ship worldwide?
We ship worldwide and offer free shipping to Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg on orders over 300 Euro.

We remove our local UK VAT but you will need to pay import fees at the border of your country. Unfortunately AlansBMX cannot calculate these import fees as they are specific to your country. For USA customers orders under $800USD are tax free.
Do you offer finance?
We offer finance options at checkout for our UK customers from multiple providers, At this time we cannot offer finance to international customers.
