You might have seen Tom Justice's son, Jessie, ripping on his Horizon 16". This is the exact bike, built around a lightweight alloy frame, coupled with appropriately sized geometry, making the Colony Horizon 16" the perfect for the younger, smaller BMX'er starting out. Progression & having fun with BMX will come naturally, for all styles of riding, including those aspiring to be a future BMX Freestyle Olympic athlete. With the Colony Horizon series of BMX bikes, there is no limit to where BMX could be taken.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PEDAL FITMENT
- Frame: Colony Horizon 16” 15.9”TT 6061T6 Alloy, 11.25” rear, 75.0º HA, 71º ST, 9.5″ Mid BB height, 1-1/8″ Integrated Headset. The light weight alloy frame is substantially lighter than steel.
- Stand Over Height: 42cm (ground to top of top tube at seat tube)
- Forks: Colony Horizon 16” CrMo tapered legs. Chrome-moly tubing is lighter and strong thean hi-tensile steel that's usually used on kids bikes.
- Handlebars: Colony Horizon 7.0” rise 23” wide CrMo. See above re Chrome-Moly!
- Grips: Colony Horizon Made specially for smaller hands.
- Headset: 1-1/8” Integrated Sealed bearinsg hidden inside the frame's headtube, just like on the Pro's bikes.
- Stem: Colony Horizon Alloy Top Load short reach.
- Brakes (rear): 990 style with clear pads.
- Brake lever (right): Alloy short reach. Designed for smaller hands.
- Cables: Slick (rear).
- Sprocket: Colony Horizon 25T. Steel, but cheap to upgrade to alloy should you wish.
- Crankset: Colony Horizon Tubular CrMo 3pce 125mm. Perfect length for 16" wheels.
- Bottom Bracket: MID sealed bearing. Maintenence-free, just like on a £2000 bike.
- Chain: KMC.
- Pedals: Plastic.
- Rims: Alloy Single Wall 28hole.
- Front Tyre: Family F2128 16” x 2.1”.
- Rear Tyre: Family F2128 16” x 2.1”.
- Spokes: Black steel.
- Front Hub: Colony Horizon Alloy, sealed bearing, 10mm axle, 28H. 28 spokes instead of 36 to keep the weight down.
- Rear Hub: Colony Horizon Alloy, Full sealed bearing cassette, 10mm axle with 9T driver, 28H. Fully sealed systems like this mean less manitenance and are rattle free.
- Seat: Colony Horizon Railed. Padded kevlar type for comfort and durability. Railed seats are better for the smaller kids as they give more adjustability, not just the angle but also back and forth.
- Seatpost: Alloy 27.2mm diameter. If do you want to change to a Pivotal system, we do have Pivotal seatposts in this size.
