Built around a lightweight alloy frame, coupled with appropriately sized geometry, makes the 18" Horizon the perfect bike for the younger, smaller BMXers starting out. Progression & having fun with BMX will come naturally, for all styles of riding, from those aspiring to be a future BMX Freestyle Olympic athlete or just riding for fun. With the Colony Horizon series of BMX bikes, there is no limit to where BMX could be taken.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PEDAL FITMENT
- Frame: Colony Horizon 18” 17.9 ”TT 6061T6 Alloy, 12.0” rear, 75.0º HA, 71º ST, 10″ Mid BB height, 1-1/8″ Integrated Headset. Alloy frames are lighter than any steel and light weight is essential for younger riders so they can learn tricks on a lighter bike.
- Stand Over Height: 49cm (ground to top of top tube at seat tube)
- Forks: Colony Horizon 18” CrMo with tapered legs. Fully chrome-moly tubing = lighter and stronger.
- Handlebars: Colony Horizon 8.0” rise 25.5” wide CrMo. See above!
- Grips: Colony Horizon Make specially for smaller hands. Standard size though so any bike grips will fit.
- Headset: 1-1/8” Integrated Sealed bearings hidden inside the frame headtube just like on all the Pro's bikes.
- Stem: Colony Horizon Alloy Top Load short reach.
- Brakes (rear): 990 style with clear pads. Clear pads stop better :)
- Brake lever (right): Alloy short reach. Made specfically for smaller hands.
- Cables: Slick (rear).
- Sprocket: Colony Horizon 25T. Steel, but upgradable to alloy cheaply.
- Crankset: Colony Horizon Tubular CrMo 3pce 140mm. Optmised length for riders of this size bike.
- Bottom Bracket: MID sealed bearing. Virtually maintenance free - the same as used on a £2000 bike!
- Chain: KMC.
- Pedals: Plastic. Standard 9/16" size, same as mountain bikes - so there are thousands available to choose from when you want to upgrade.
- Rims: Alloy Single Wall 36hole.
- Front Tyre: Family F2128 18” x 2.1”.
- Rear Tyre: Family F2128 18” x 2.1”.
- Spokes: Black steel.
- Front Hub: Colony Horizon Alloy, sealed bearing, 10mm axle. Sealed bearings are virtually maintenance free, no cone adjustment!
- Rear Hub: Colony Horizon Alloy, Full sealed bearing cassette, 10mm axle with 9T driver. Sealed driver and 10mm axle for light weight (riders don't need a heavier 14mm axle at this age).
- Seat: Colony Horizon Railed. Railed seat systems allow for more adjustability, not just the angle but also fore and aft. We have a million Pivotal seats if you want to upgrade to one.
- Seatpost: Alloy 27.2mm diameter. Pivotal seatposts in this less-common-for-BMX 27.2mm size are available from us.
- Weight: 9.4kgs. Yes it's light.
