The wait is over. We are beyond excited to announce that our highly anticipated éclat SEISMIC Cassette Hub is now available!
The SEISMIC Cassette Hub utilizes a new internal mechanism, which we’ve been working on for the past few years called TCS (Toothed Coupling System). Inspired by systems used on high-end road and mountain bikes, we’ve managed to re-design this system to work inside a BMX cassette hub with a 14mm axle and a 9t driver, something which was never possible until now.
Instead of the typical pawl based cassette hub, the SEISMIC hub uses x2 coupled toothed ratchet rings, which are inside the hub and the driver. The two rings are pushed together with a very special design of spring, which allows the hub to transfer power in one direction, and “freewheel” in the other.
In a nutshell, it’s a much stronger internal mechanism, which can’t fail even after years of heavy use. No more skipping, slipping or popping, you can really crank this thing as hard you want and it’s not going to fail. Even after years of heavy use, this hub was designed to keep going on and on.

What are the delivery times?
We offer multiple shipping options for UK customers including Royal Mail Tracked 48/24 services, UPS Next Day and UPS Saturday delivery. You can find these at checkout.
For international customers shipping times may vary depending on location and the size of your order. Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.
Do you ship worldwide?
We ship worldwide and offer free shipping to Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg on orders over 300 Euro.

We remove our local UK VAT but you will need to pay import fees at the border of your country. Unfortunately AlansBMX cannot calculate these import fees as they are specific to your country. For USA customers orders under $800USD are tax free.
