The future is here. Gone are the days of bending axles, snapping bolts and breaking dropouts. Here is the launch of Eclat's 14mm thru-axle (TA) hub system, the strongest and stiffest axle setup ever created for BMX riding.
Utilizing Wethepeople’s patented HYBRID SYSTEM technology, the Shift TA freecoaster hub combines the smoothness and durability of a cassette hub with the endless possibilities of a freecoaster. The TA upgrade on the Shift hub is based around a new 14mm thru-axle (TA) system which fits seamlessly inside and works in harmony with any 14mm dropout. Simply sliding in “thru” the peg, dropouts and hub, the larger diameter axle is stiffer and tougher than any conventional 14mm hub axle setup. Hollowed out to keep weight to a minimum, the Shift TA hub is designed to fit any peg setup and fully adjustable with washers to be setup with x2 pegs or even none.
The Shift TA freecoaster hub also receives the upgrade of 3 hub shell bearings and a needle bearing driver, allowing for a faster rolling and super durable bearings setup.
The Shift TA freecoaster hub comes out of the box with Eclat's Viper and Gong nylon hub guards and an adjustable slack system, meaning the Shift can also easily be converted into a cassette hub in a matter of seconds.
NOTE: Compatible with ALL 14mm dropouts.

What are the delivery times?
We offer multiple shipping options for UK customers including Royal Mail Tracked 48/24 services, UPS Next Day and UPS Saturday delivery. You can find these at checkout.

Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.

Shipping is calculated at checkout once you put your delivery address in, AlansBMX will contact customer about pre paying import fees and duties after your order is placed.
