Better than Brass
Ordinary aluminum nipples have a bad reputation for rounding off, but the Taper-Hex Nipple shape makes it work better than brass. The tapered hexagon shape means that the spoke wrench can easily slide down the nipple to fit perfectly and transmit maximum torque without deforming.
The Tool is no longer included with the nipples - Now sold in packs of 40.
Lighter and Easier to Use
Since the spoke wrench slides on and off so easily, they are easier to adjust, and they save an ounce per wheel without any real loss in strength.
The same thing said about the lack of innovation in rims can be said for spoke nipples. Most people don’t think about the little nipples that hold their spokes to the rims, but George isn’t most people. Ordinary aluminum nipples have a bad reputation for rounding off, but our patented Taper-Hex Nipple shape makes it work better than brass. The tapered hexagon shape means that the key can easily slide down the nipple to fit perfectly and transmit maximum torque without deforming. GSport 7075 aluminum Taper-Hex Nipples work better than traditional brass ones. Since the key slides on and off so easily, they are easier to adjust, and they save an ounce per wheel without any real loss in strength. The spoke key itself is custom forged and precision wire eroded for a perfect fit.

What are the delivery times?

Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page for bikes 20 inch or smaller or contact us.
