GT Vertigo 1996 Bike Red / Black Splatter
Mostly OG 1996 GT Vertigo with the red/black splatter frame. Crazy that this bike seems modern to us but it's now 30 years old!
We stripped all the parts off it and rebuilt it from scratch. The oruginal chrome forks and bars were pitted so we had these powder coated. The crank disc we also had done black. The original 48 spoke wheels were rebuilt. We then fitted new GT LP-5 skinwall tyres (very rare now, no longer made), new crank, chain, seat and wheatever else it needed to bring it up to scratch.

Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.
