Tested everywhere by some of the best riders going. The all new Skelta wheelset is one of the most durable in MTB and is built using 6069 T6 heat-treated aluminium, with an invisible seamless welded joint for added security. The Skelta rim has a shot-peened surface, that provides increased corrosion and fatigue resistance.
After more than a year of heavy testing we’ve developed the rim design to offer an even stronger wheel without excessive weight. Skelta’s enhanced 30 mm internal width, offers a confidence inspiring hooked rim profile for added control and tyre security and is compatible with all types of tyres, tubeless or not. We have optimised the width for tyre sizes from 2.25” - 2.8”, making them compatible with lightweight XC tyres for ripping local trails, through to heavy casing DH tyres for the gnarliest conditions.
At the centre of the Skelta wheels is Halo's iconic MT Hubs. All the Skelta wheels are built with Halo triple butted J-bend spokes, so you can easily source replacements wherever you’re riding in the world.
The Skelta Wheels or rims have been put through their paces, not only throughout the Scottish Highlands and the trails at Hardline in Wales, but further afield, performing on some of Utah’s finest dirt. A challenge they were more than up to and a testament to not only their strength, but also their resilience to some of the hardest riding conditions in the world.

What are the delivery times?
We offer multiple shipping options for UK customers including Royal Mail Tracked 48/24 services, UPS Next Day and UPS Saturday delivery. You can find these at checkout.
For international customers shipping times may vary depending on location and the size of your order. You can get shipping prices at checkout automatically after adding your shipping address and local UK VAT is removed from your order. Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.

Shipping is calculated at checkout once you put your delivery address in, AlansBMX will contact customer about pre paying import fees and duties after your order is placed.
