S&M Bikes Mad Dog Frame for 22" Wheels
S&M Bikes Mad Dog Frame for 22" Wheels
This version takes 22" wheels. Why not have us create your dream bike around this.
Throw a dog a wishbone! And a disc brake, with a tall stand-over, but keep it light (sub 5lbs) and you’ve got yourself the reincarnated Chris “Mad Dog” Moeller frame. It only took 36 years for S&M’s Top Dawg to drop another bike custom-crafted for his breed of biking, but much like the original, it's designed for dudes who want to terrorize the trails and the track and claim their territory doing it.
Why not grab a matching Mad Dog t-shirt?
Engraved Shield on Headtube.
Engraved ’87’ on BB shell.
MAD DOG-tag on seat-tube
Disk mount is designed for 120mm rotor with 0mm IS to POST mount adaptor (Profile hub or hub with similar narrow flange width recommended for spoke/caliper clearance), 140mm rotor requires a 20mm IS to POST mount adaptor.
Max sprocket size with proper chain alignment is 36 tooth.
Seat tube is slotted for traditional 28.6mm seat clamp or Quick Release 28.6mm seat clamp.
Rear drop-out spacing is traditional BMX 110mm.
PLEASE NOTE: This Clear Raw version of this frame has a Translucent paint finish which means you can see the welds and anything else through the paint. It is generally not as durable as solid paint and can scratch easier. Additionally, the steel can develop sort of spider-web marks which of course you can see through the translucent paint, this is all part of the effect in a way, but we are just making you aware of it. If this isn't for you, we'd suggest a non-translucent paint finish.

Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.
