Since the introduction of the Skyway TA Frame Kits in the early 80’s, nothing has surpassed the genuine look of the iconic tear drop tubing that is TA (Totally Aerodynamic)

In 2022, Skyway were proud to release the second generation of the original TA, as a frame set and a complete bike in a 20” Pro version. The teardrop tubing has been sourced to make sure these bikes are as original as can be. Each bike uses the most appropriate parts to create that superior TA feel including Genuine USA made Skyway Flanged Tuff Wheels, Japanese accessories, USA made Flite Pads and Redline Flight Cranks. A class bike unmatched in mystique.

Exposing the Myth

These are not exact copies of the original TA completes or even frames. That would be disrespectful to the collectors out there who do have the original TA Frames. These are 2022 made frames built using the same teardrop TA tubing as in the 1980’s, however there are slight changes. We have redesigned these frames from the 2012 rerelease, back closer to the way they were in the 80’s. The 20” version now features a 21.5”TT, (24” has a 22” TT) full Chromoly teardrop TA Tubing, 1” Threaded fork steerer, USA BB set, side pull calliper brake mounts and a 25.4mm seatpost tube. The TA fork and Handlebar are also full Chromoly. Each bike and Frameset will be a numbered product to give this new complete, a mystique of its own. It will never be a genuine original 80’s model, but will be an affordable collector bike, or a fun retro all-day get-around bike.

Owning a Skyway is not like just owning a bike. You are investing in BMX History that will be part of this sport for eternity.

What are the delivery times?

We offer multiple shipping options for UK customers including Royal Mail Tracked 48/24 services, UPS Next Day and UPS Saturday delivery. You can find these at checkout.

For international customers shipping times may vary depending on location and the size of your order. You can get shipping prices at checkout automatically after adding your shipping address and local UK VAT is removed from your order. Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?

Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.

We ship worldwide and offer shipping to many countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and many many more

Shipping is calculated at checkout once you put your delivery address in, AlansBMX will contact customer about pre paying import fees and duties after your order is placed.
