Torker 2026 50 Year Anniversary Big Bike Custom Bike Chrome #17 of #50
Torker 2026 50 Year Anniversary Big Bike Custom Bike Chrome #17 of #50
To celebrate 50 years Torker have made just 50 of these frame kits, made in California and we've assembled one of them into a complete bike. We used a set of the Motomag III wheels and original 1970's Ashtabula prts which would have been used in period - goosebeck, bars and 1978-stamped crank. A padded original diamond Troxel-type seat, Nitto seatclamp, Dia-Compe brake, rat trap pedals, NOS period sprocket, A'ME Bubble font grips, topped off with a number plate. We've built this as close as we could to how you've have done it in 1977. This one is number 17 of 50.

About The Big Bike
The one that started it all for Torker — these anniverary kits are hand-made in Southern California, not far from the original Fullerton shop. BMX Action™ Magazine once called it a “Fiendishly Seductive Racing Bike,” and I have to agree.
This frame lit the spark for so many of us “Dirty Heads” who have loved BMX since birth. We dreamed about it while saving pennies from collecting bottles, running paper routes, mowing lawns — all to finally own the ultimate BMX racing bike of the mid-’70s: the Torker G.T. Big Bike, also known simply as THE BIG BIKE.
Are they going to be rare? Absolutely.
Are they going to be awesome? You know it.
Now you can channel your inner Kevin McNeal, Leo Green, and the other legends. These frames are 100% made in Southern California — right down to the premium chrome and powdercoat, all produced just down the street from where the originals were made in Fullerton.
Of course we will be able to build one of these into a custom bike for you, contact us for details.

Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page for bikes 20 inch or smaller or contact us.
