Torker Maxflyte Cranks Chrome
Torker Maxflyte Cranks Chrome
When the Torker Pro riders like Clint Miller and Dave Marietti in the 80's were looking for the best cranks for their racing machines, they found the Redline® Flight Cranks, and they knew they had a great crank under them.
Well for 2026 Torker were able to recreate a version that is similar, but different. It looks like the original pinchless 1980 Redline® Flight Cranks but uses a 19mm 48t spline like a Profile to give you the best of both worlds.
Available in 175mm and 180mm lengths*
Comes complete with Threaded Euro Sealed Bearing BB kit to fit any of the Torker LP Race, EK, Barbarian, MX26, MX29 and Diesel frames
If you need an American, Mid or Spanish BB, please just let us know in notes at Checkout and we will swap the BB to your preference for no extra cost**
What Arm Length do I need?*
To an extent, it's personal preference. Traditionally, BMX cranks have been 175mm, but this evolved from BMX racing. Since the advent of park and street riding, especially for riders running pegs, shorter arm lengths like 160 and 165mm have become popular.
What Bottom Bracket do I need?**
These Torker cranks use a 19mm spindle. The BB you need is dependent on your frame:
American 51mm - This is the big Coke-can size used on most Old School bikes.
Mid 41mm - For most modern freestyle bikes (this is actually the American BB bearing withoout the alloy press-in cup).
Spanish 37mm - Designed by Fly Bikes but mostly obsolete now apart from on some Flatland frames.
Euro Threaded - used on Mountain Bikes, most race bikes and some of the new Torker frames (LP Race, EK, Barbarian, MX26, MX29 and Diesel )
Fitting
Don't forget to use grease in your bearings and your pedal threads when installing cranks. See our note about pedal fitment here.
Uses 8mm allen key. Why not treat yourself to a decent allen key like this Park Tool one.
