The Skate Era in this original Blue/Red colourway is a stone cold Vans classic beloved by Skaters and BMX'ers the world over. But under the hood this Era has all the Vans' comfort and durability Skate features like Duracap and Pop Cush sockliners.
The Era was the first shoe designed by skateboarders, for skateboarders, in 1976. Then guess what? We BMXers took it and ran! The Era was perfect for us. An evolution of our original low-top silhouette, the Era placed an emphasis on comfort and style by debuting our famous padded collar. It was also our first shoe to feature the now-iconic Off The Wall heel tab and remains the shoe of choice for BMXers, skaters, surfers, and creatives worldwide.
FUN FACT
This Blue/Red colourway in the Style #95 (as it was the called) was in the very first Vans delivery we had, back in 1980 (the other colour was Navy/Gold), back in our original Hindley shop. They were £25 back then, about £110 in today's money.

What are the delivery times?
We offer multiple shipping options for UK customers including Royal Mail Tracked 48/24 services, UPS Next Day and UPS Saturday delivery. You can find these at checkout.
For international customers shipping times may vary depending on location and the size of your order. You can get shipping prices at checkout automatically after adding your shipping address and local UK VAT is removed from your order. Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.

We ship worldwide and offer shipping to many countries including USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and many many more
Shipping is calculated at checkout once you put your delivery address in, AlansBMX will contact customer about pre paying import fees and duties after your order is placed.
