The Veloce is one of two new BMX race/pump track tyres from legendary tyre maker Vittoria. The Velcoe has fast rolling slick centre transitions smoothly into an array of progressive width sipes for confident cornering control. Race formulation powered by Graphene + Silica provides speed and grip without compromise. Designed to be the absolute fastest option from point A to point B Supple feel and dependable nylon construction.
VELOCE:
Has a slicker surface than the Lampo, with less rolling resistance, and is intended for dry, clean surfaces … think pump tracks and well-maintained tracks with good surfaces. The 20x1.75 tips the scales at 275g.
LAMPO:
Has a significantly more intricate thread pattern and is intended for varied BMX and pump track conditions, the more all-round option. The Lampo is slightly heavier than its slicker sister, coming in at 280g for 20x1.75.
Our Take:
These are definitely contenders to the Tioga/Maxxis/Vee dynasty. It could be the hot ticket to run the Lampo upfront for more traction in the turns and the Veloce on the rear for faster rolling. Right now these tyres are still brand new, so we are still waiting to get feedback from riders.

What are the delivery times?

Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page for bikes 20 inch or smaller or contact us.
