We The People Prodigy 18 Inch Frame
We The People Prodigy 18 Inch Frame
Wethepeople recognised the growing amount of highly progressive and talented younger bmx riders around the world and the lack of 18" products designed specifically for them. The prodigy frame isn’t just a scaled-down 20" frame, but a totally new concept built from the ground up using super-light materials and responsive geometry allowing the aspiring pro to progress faster and ride hard. The frame uses hydroformed tubing just like our battleship frame to make the frame incredibly strong and super lightweight. Matched up with an aftermarket prodigy fork & handlebar, the prodigy line is there to meet the needs of bmx’s best and brightest.
PLEASE NOTE: The Trans Red version of this frame has a Translucent paint finish which means you can see the welds and anything else through the paint. It is generally not as durable as solid paint and can scratch easier. Additionally, the steel can develop sort of spider-web marks which of course you can see through the translucent paint, this is all part of the effect, but we are just making you aware of it. If this isn't for you, we'd suggest a non-translucent paint finish.

Do the bikes arrive pre-built or will they need to be assembled?
Bikes arrive in a flatpack state and require the Handlebars, Seat, Pedals, Accessories and adjustment by a qualified cycle mechanic for the warranty to be valid. We do offer our Ready2Ride service where we build the bike here at the shop from our mechanics, adjust everything and keep your warranty intact, all you need to do is turn the bars straight and attach the pedals and you are ready to shred! There is an additional cost due to the oversize box and you can find this as an option on the product page or contact us.
Do you ship worldwide?
We ship worldwide and offer free shipping to Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg on orders over 300 Euro.
Dont see your country as an option? Get in touch on sales@alansbmx.com.
