18 Inch BMX Bikes are becoming more and more common for younger riders to bridge the gap between 16 Inch Kids BMX and 20 Inch Adult BMX bikes. The smaller wheel size on Youth BMX Bikes and top tube length keep them in proportion to shorter riders and enables the kids to ride them properly down at the skatepark or dirt jump. Even to the point where we are seeing 10 year olds doing tailwhips and backflips down at the park on these more appropriately sized bikes.
Typically suited for 7 to 12 year olds, we prefer to size BMX bikes by the riders height. For 18 Inch BMX Bikes we suggest riders between 4'0 and 4'10" (122 - 147cm). Of course there is some cross over between sizes but typically a Kids BMX Bike should be small so they can manoeuvere the bike down at the skatepark and learn some tricks.

We ship worldwide with shipping, taxes and duties all calculated at checkout for smooth delivery. We do an optional Ready 2 Ride service where the bike is all set up here by our mechanics and just neds the pedals fitting and bars. turning. If you are collecting the bike at our Wigan Store we will assemble and do a Pre Delivery Inspection free of charge so its ready to ride out the store and straight to the skatepark!
