Race BMX Frames

The frame is the heart of any race bike. It decides how the bike fits, how stiff it feels when you stamp on the pedals out of the gate, and how it handles through the berms and rhythm sections. Whether you're building a custom race bike from scratch or upgrading the frame on your current setup, our range of BMX race frames covers every size, from Micro and Mini frames for young racers right up to Pro XXXL and 24" cruiser frames for tall adult riders.

We stock race frames from the best brands, including Chase, Meybo, Supercross BMX and Syndyt. Our most popular frames are the Supercross Vision F1 Carbon Frameset and the Meybo frame line.

Choosing the right race frame

Race frames are sized by rider height and top tube length. Most brands offer each model in a wide range of sizes, so pick the size first, then the frame. If you're not sure where to start, our BMX race bike size guide shows typical rider heights for each size. Before you buy, it's also worth checking:

  • Wheel size: 20 x 1/18 or 1 3/8 for Mini to Expert XL, 20 x 1.5 for Pro or larger race bikes, or 24" for cruiser class
  • Rear axle: some frames take a 10mm axle, others a larger through-axle, so match your rear hub or use an adaptor
  • Headset and bottom bracket: make sure your headset and bottom bracket suit the frame's standard and also your cranks
  • Brake mount: check whether the frame runs a V-brake or disc brake setup as you may need a new rear hub/wheel if converting from one to another.
