The Dia-Compe name has been in BMX since the very start and at one time probably 90% of riders were using Dia-Compe brake on their bikes. Into the 90's and 2000's Dia-Compe continued to evolved their range of quality products designed for today's riding demands. Eventually Diacompe realised there would be a demand for their classic brakes, so the MX-1000 &MX-890 calipers and Tech-3 & Tech-4 were re-issued and have been a lifeline for those restoring 80's bikes. Dia-Compe also make high quality brakes & headsets for modern freestyle and race bikes as well.
