You know the old ad slogan... if you have $10 head buy a $10 helmet, the Fly Racing Formula Tracer Carbon Helmet is a good as it gets. With the speed of today's BMX tracks and just how hard the ground is if you crash, we'd definitely feel more confident running the Formula over any flimsy light weight BMX helmet with lower levels of protection despite any minimal weight savings.

Weight: 1300g - 1500g depending on size. For comparison, a TLD D4 carbon weighs about 1000g.
