S&M Bikes Steel Panther Race Frame Gloss Clear
Finally, for those craving an all steel BMX race frame, S&M have you covered with the new steel Panther range. Euro BB and sweet steel goodness as used by team riders John Bentley and Karl Sanderson.
Prowling BMX tracks, making easy prey of lesser species’, the American Steel Panther is King of the CrMo race frame jungle. And unlike it’s predecessors the 38 Special and Speedwagon, it’s not named after a cheesy rock band from the 80’s.
Some notable improvements from the Speedwagon include: Additional bend in seat-stays for greater chain clearance, integrated chain tensioners in drops and slightly lower stand-over. Rear-end length depends on Top Tube length.

PLEASE NOTE: This frame has a Gloss Clear paint finish which means you can see the welds and anything else through the laquer. It is generally not as durable as solid paint and can scratch easier. Additionally, the steel will develop sort of spider-web marks which of course you can see through the translucent paint, this is all part of the effect in a way, but we are just making you aware it. If this isn't for you, we'd suggest a non-Clear paint finish.
